Welcome to “Creative Connections: Conversation and Collage.” This class blends the power of personal storytelling with the expressive art of collage to explore and deepen your emotional intelligence. Our activities will include guided journaling, thoughtful discussion, and collage-making. This expressive arts class is designed for anyone looking to deepen their self-awareness, build meaningful connections, and express their creativity in a supportive environment. Janelle Wilson, certified Social Emotional Arts instructor, will be your guide. Janelle has experience in dance and choreography, writing and spoken word performance, arts administration, and event production, and she’s excited for you to join her in this unique Expressive Arts workshop! No prior artistic experience is needed—just bring your willingness to explore and connect. Optional items to bring: - Personal journal/any additional items collage that inspire you - Layered clothing - Water bottle with a spill-proof lid Scholarships for this and all of our other classes are available for those who otherwise would not be able to attend art classes, thanks to generous donations to our Art Start Fund.
