3-week course: Thursdays, April 10 - April 24, 6:30pm - 8:30pm Beginner-Intermediate, Ages 12+ Sharpen your artistic eye and develop a strong foundation in drawing by learning to truly see the world around you. In this course, you’ll train your perception of shapes, lines, shadows, and perspective—essential skills that will strengthen your ability to capture what you see with confidence. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a solid foundation or an intermediate artist wanting a refresher, this class will help refine your technique through guided exercises in observation and sketching. Drawing is a fundamental skill that enhances all other creative pursuits, from painting to design. By learning to slow down and observe with intention, you'll develop the ability to translate what you see onto paper with greater accuracy and expression. Please bring the following with you. Reach out if you have any questions prior to purchasing: - Strathmore 300 Series or similar - Drawing Paper Pad, Top Wire Bound, 9x12 inches, 50 Sheets (70lb/114g); Artist Paper for Adults and Students - Charcoal, Colored Pencil, Ink, Pastel, Marker - Faber-Castell Graphite Sketch Pencil Set or similar; 6 Graphite Pencils (2H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B) - Kneaded Eraser All other supplies will be provided by Catalyst or your instructor.
