There are three concerns Dana Long--editor, coach, and writer--hears day after day: ✨ I want to write a book, but I don't know where to start. ✨ I have a great idea, but I don't know how to pull it together. ✨ I'm told that everyone should read my book, but I don't have the mental bandwidth to advertise it everywhere! Those are legit concerns! Well, consider Dana your friendly, knowledgeable Park Ranger and personal Trail Guide! Grab your water jug - this is going to be a FUN hike with some breathtaking scenery at the summit! For three days in the coming months, she will give you the tools you need to get started, keep you on track, and find the readers who want YOUR book! In this course, you'll learn how to schedule the many moving pieces around writing and preparing to publish a book, how to outline a book, and how to identify a target audience to write and market to. Lesson plan: 1/16: Timeline for Writing a book 1/30: Outline Your Book 2/6: Identifying Your Ideal Reader About your instructor: Dana Long has been crafting stories since childhood and began writing in grade school, exploring everything from short fiction to poetry and nonfiction.
