Drew Stuebner

Drew Stuebner, 25, is a professional artist. He loves to draw and paint to express his unique view of the world.

At age 2 ½ Drew was diagnosed with autism. Over time, we learned that making art, drawing and painting, provided a way for Drew to express his thoughts for fun.

Drew has worked with a variety of private art teachers over the years, working with them one-on-one to learn more sophisticated drawing and painting techniques. As a young teen, Drew learned how to paint with watercolors, depicting some of his favorite animals. More recently, Drew has created a series of acrylic paintings featuring a variety of animals and birds in a wide variety of landscapes.

Drew’s work includes original acrylic paintings, prints, notecards, and calendars. The Catalyst Arts Collaborative displays and sells Drew’s artwork. His work also is available at http://drewstuebner.com.

Drew’s art teachers have been extremely helpful in developing his talents, including Marilyn Cosho, Lisa Chaney, KT Shanafelt, Kelley Cooper and currently, Jessica Henry, at the Catalyst Arts Collaborative. Drew also has taken college art classes at Boise State University and the College of Western Idaho.

In Drew’s words, “Art is a big part of my life. I like to draw all the time. It makes me happy.”
